About this course

Patient care for mast cell activation disorders is a very complex process with many components.

These disorders are well-recognised but often misunderstood conditions that can affect multiple organ systems. Estimates suggest they may be present in up to 17% of the population, yet remain frequently undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, requiring careful, structured assessment and management.

Dr Lela Altman is a naturopathic physician (ND, MSA, EAMP, FABNG) with extensive clinical experience in mast cell activation disorders and sees many patients with these complex, multi-system conditions.

In this comprehensive 2-part presentation, Dr Altman details how you can identify, assess, and diagnose various forms of mast cell activation disorders. She spends significant time detailing the many therapeutic options available for both conventional pharmaceutical and evidence-based natural treatments. Lela also discusses when and how each are applicable for your patients with MCAD.

This is a very encouraging and practical discussion on the care of the many people challenged with mast cell activation disorders, histamine intolerance, and related conditions.
