DR LESLIE KORN

Dr. Leslie Korn is a renowned integrative medicine expert, scientist, educator and author who specialises in the intersection of mental health and chronic physical illness. She began her training over 45 years ago in the jungle of Mexico and completed it in the “jungle” at Harvard Medical School in the departments of psychiatry and public health.

Dr. Korn has a PhD from Harvard Medical School in Applied Psychophysiology and Behavioural Medicine, an MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, an MA in Cross Cultural Health psychology and was a clinical fellow in the department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School where she introduced somatic therapies for mental health in 1985.

With over 40 years of clinical experience, she combines psychotherapy, nutritional and botanical medicine, and somatic therapies to support patients through medication reduction while addressing underlying psychiatric and physical health issues. Her pioneering work focuses on individualised, gradual tapering protocols that incorporate dietary, supplement, and lifestyle strategies to minimise withdrawal symptoms and promote lasting recovery. She has delivered extensive training for clinicians on integrative and naturopathic approaches to mental health medication management.
