About this course

Almost all of our thinking and discussion of hormones considers their function independently. Even though each hormone has its own specific functions, it seems we have overlooked the critical component of hormonal inter-relationships?

Our hormones are the major regulators of our physiology. They are central and powerful co-ordinators of bodily function and none of them works alone. They are always present together; interacting and functioning as a team. It is the intersection of their function that we find some very interesting relationships and also causes of metabolic dysfunction.

Dr Filomena Trindade has studied these hormonal interactions and dependencies very closely and has developed a highly valuable concept that she calls the Saudade Hormonal Symphony. It is a concept of how each hormone relates to others. With every condition that may have a hormonal component, we need to address the factors affecting not only the specific hormones but also what is affecting the others simultaneously.

Filomena will change the way you approach oestrogen dysfunction, insulin resistance, thyroid disorders and many, many conditions that you see routinely.
